Vinyl Castle Boys Something To Look Forward To

John P. Strohm, former member of the Blake Babies, has popped out of musical obscurity to give us Something to Look Forward To, and boy is it a cheeky little treat for the ears. This album is like a cosy jumper on a rainy day - familiar, comforting, but with a few unexpected twists and turns. Strohm's songwriting is both witty and poignant, with lyrics that will have you laughing one moment and contemplating life's big questions the next. The album kicks off with the infectious "What Are Friends For", a catchy tune that will have you singing along in no time. And if you've ever found yourself at a crossroads in life, "Tape Deck" will hit you right in the feels. The production on Something to Look Forward To is top-notch, with each track expertly crafted to showcase Strohm's unique blend of folk and indie rock. The instrumentation is tight, the hooks are catchy, and the overall vibe is just downright charming. So, if you're in the mood for some feel-good tunes with a side of introspection, look no further than John P. Strohm's latest offering. Something to Look Forward To is a delightful blend of nostalgia and modern sensibilities that is sure to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Cheers, John - we'll definitely be looking forward to whatever you've got up your sleeve next.
