And this has been the case for generations, since 1886. • The stoneware used in these ceramics comes from high-quality clay, harvested in the region and worked by hand. The glazes, the result of extensive research, are created from untreated, natural materials. • Hand-crafted by these inspired ceramists no less, each piece is unique, original and exclusive. • The Olaia range is produced from reactive glazed stoneware. This finish is entirely handcrafted, each piece is unique and will bring a unique touch to your table.. • This manufacturing technique involves the application of different enamels and metal oxides: Following a first firing, the craftsmen apply metal oxides to the pottery to create the desired effect. These pieces are then covered with an enamel of another colour, which brings out the metal oxides. The colour and rendering of the enamels therefore depend on the temperature, the firing time, the thickness of the enamel and its method of application.. Refunds
